Angela Huang

Angela is an Articled Student focusing on family law and estate litigation. She recently completed her Master of Laws (Common Law) at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at UBC and NCA accreditation. She is expected to get called to the Bar in 2027.

Angela holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from Simon Fraser University. During her legal studies, she gained experience in a variety of areas of law, including criminal law, family law, business organizations, administrative law and real estate transactions.

While completing her master’s degree at UBC, Angela volunteered with the Westcoast Family Centres Society through Allard Law’s Pro Bono Program. Her work focused on public legal education and research relating to the intersection of criminal and family law, particularly the impact of criminal charges on family law proceedings. She also supported projects serving marginalized communities, including survivors of domestic violence, women, and children.

Angela also volunteered as a Student Clinician with the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program (LSLAP) Chinatown Clinic, where she assisted low-income clients by conducting client intake interviews and helping individuals access legal information and community resources.

In addition to her litigation experience, Angela has assisted with the preparation of conveyancing documents for uncontested real estate matters. She is fluent in English and Mandarin and can also speak conversational Japanese.

Outside of work, Angela is more of an indoor person. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and her cats.
