Jackson was co-counsel on the landmark wills variation case, Grewal v. Litt, 2019 BCSC 1154, where he was able to obtain a substantial variation of a large estate in favour of his clients.

Jackson obtained his law degree from the University of Leicester in the UK and his accreditation from the Federation of Law Societies of Canada.

Previously, Jackson received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Victoria, followed by a Masters of American History, also from the University of Victoria.

  • I chose the right law firm and I know our future is on the proper course because of Onyx. I wouldn’t hesitate to tell anyone who needs good legal representation to take my words to heart.

  • I particularly enjoy the human side of law. Because the situations my clients are in, are usually quite emotional and complicated, I explain the process in a manner that is simple and puts them at ease.

  • We were made to feel valued and heard. Integrity, competence and a passion for justice definitely describes Onyx. They are also caring, compassionate and have a good sense of humour.

  • Thanks to Onyx’s straightforward approach, this litigation was resolved with the best outcome for myself and my children. Although this ordeal was emotionally trying, we can get on with our lives, without added worry and stress.
