Dunbar estate help from our Kerrisdale office

Dunbar sits on Vancouver’s west side, between Pacific Spirit Regional Park and the homes along Dunbar Street. Our closest office is in Kerrisdale at Suite 201, 5455 West Boulevard — a short drive east along West 41st Avenue, usually under ten minutes. We meet Dunbar clients there rather than claiming a storefront we don’t have in the neighbourhood.

Probate and estate administration for Dunbar residents go through the BC Supreme Court probate registry at the Vancouver Law Courts, 800 Smithe Street. Under the Wills, Estates and Succession Act, an executor named in a will still needs the court’s grant before a bank or the Land Title Office will accept their authority over an account or a house. We prepare those applications and, when the estate holds property, help the executor get the transfer through once the grant is in hand.
