Estate lawyers serving Vancouver

We act for estate clients across Vancouver from two offices in the city: downtown at Suite 1215, 650 West Georgia Street, and on the west side in Kerrisdale at Suite 201, 5455 West Boulevard. Between them we cover the peninsula, the west-side neighbourhoods, and the east side, and our New Westminster office picks up families further east.

Wherever in Vancouver the deceased lived, the estate is administered through the BC Supreme Court registry at the Vancouver Law Courts, 800 Smithe Street. The Wills, Estates and Succession Act governs the whole process — proving a will, appointing an administrator when there is not one, and dividing an estate under the intestacy rules in Part 3. We prepare probate and administration applications, advise executors on their duties, and act for spouses and children in wills variation claims.
