Serving Kitsilano estates from Kerrisdale

Kitsilano runs along the water from Kits Beach south to West Broadway and the shops on West 4th. Our nearest office is in Kerrisdale, Suite 201 at 5455 West Boulevard, roughly fifteen minutes south depending on the Arbutus corridor traffic. We see Kits clients there; we don’t keep an office in the neighbourhood itself.

Estate administration for Kitsilano goes through the Vancouver Law Courts probate registry at 800 Smithe Street. Before that application, BC executors are expected to run a wills notice search through Vital Statistics to confirm whether a later will exists — a step that trips up families who assume the copy in the drawer is the last word. Under the Wills, Estates and Succession Act we handle that search, prepare the grant of probate application, and take on wills variation and executor disputes when they arise.
