Filing an Estate Matter from Surrey

Surrey does not have its own Supreme Court registry, so probate applications and estate litigation for Surrey families are usually filed at the New Westminster Law Courts on Carnarvon Street, the closest registry that hears BC Supreme Court estate matters. When a dispute stays out of court, most of the work happens by email and phone, drafting the probate application, running the wills notice search, dealing with the executor, so you rarely need to travel. If a court date is required, our New Westminster office on Fourth Street sits a few minutes from the registry, which keeps things simple for clients coming from Guildford, Newton, Cloverdale or South Surrey.
