Tsawwassen estate support from our New Westminster office

Tsawwassen sits at the southwest corner of Delta, out by the ferry terminal and Boundary Bay. It’s about a 35-minute drive from our New Westminster office at 26 Fourth Street, south on Highway 91 and Highway 17. Onyx Law Group has no Delta office, so we serve Tsawwassen clients from New Westminster and handle a good part of most estate files by video to save the trip.

Delta has no Supreme Court registry, so probate and estate matters for Tsawwassen are generally filed at the New Westminster Supreme Court registry. If a spouse or a child, adult or minor, believes a will left them without adequate provision, the Wills, Estates and Succession Act lets them bring a wills variation claim. The court weighs both the will-maker’s legal duties and what a reasonable person in the same position would have done. These claims run on a strict timeline, so getting advice early matters.
